Accessories

Let’s talk about accessories. A lot of people believe that accessories are part of the things that makes a woman look beautiful.

This is true to some extent. As much as I love accessories, I hardly use them because I do not feel comfortable wearing too many things on my body.

Growing up, the body accessory that I had little to no interest in was EARRING. Ever since I was born, I would not use any kind of accessories especially earrings except if it was pure gold. That was the only type my ear would accept. If I used anything asides gold, I would have an ear sore (otalgia).

I haven’t been able to figure out why this happens to me and I also haven’t seen or met anyone with the same condition, but I promise to make a research and update you all as soon as I find something on it. So stay tuned and feel free to share your thoughts and experiences with accessories.

  3. When last did you try an earring that wasn’t gold? Maybe your ears have grown to accommodate some others

      • On the day women marched against “evil men” in my city, three females (by lack of an appropriate term) verbally assaulted me, unprovoked, in public, despite my obvious disability. Well, ladies they were not although one drove one of those posh pizza cars, you know, the flat Italian ones…..

      • That is just the sad effect of fempower, as it had changed some ladies into very crude beings of uncertain gender. The whole women’s lib thing really is GBV that dehumanises women. But ladies, not men, should be the ones reclaiming their femininity. One girl one day said: “He is such an idiot. He is so masculine.” What did she expect him to be? My wife flattened more than one street robber, she put an old perv in hospital with just one blow, yet she is a soft, cuddly lady, despite the tungsten in her soul.

  4. Hi Maryam 🙂

I find it intersting the way we order the world with our use of language.

For example, while I do realize that “jewelry” may very well often be viewed as an accessory, I generally think more of thing that aren’t “worn” directly — such as handbags, wallets, maybe umbrellas or keychains … so stuff that generally gets “taken along” more than it is worn. I guess it also depends a lot on how a store might be organized, so people can find the things they want to buy.

    🙂 Norbert
